Barnardo’s to benefit from Bestway race day

Barnardo’s will be the beneficiary of Bestway’s annual charity race day, which is being held at Royal Ascot on 19 June – the 27^th year since the C&C/wholesaler began raising money at this sporting event.

Over 800 people are expected to attend, including suppliers, Barnardo’s personnel and Bestway staff.

The charity race day has supported more than 20 concerns since it began, with Barnardo’s previously the recipient in 2007.

The overall sum that has been raised over the years is £2.6 million.

Bestway Wholesale managing director Dawood Pervez said: “We are grateful to all our supplier partners who continue to support this event every year.

“It is a great opportunity to bring colleagues from across the wholesale industry together in celebration of a great cause.”
