AG Barr launches two limited-edition Barr flavours
AG Barr has launched two limited-edition Barr flavours – Sour Sensation Apple & Cherry and Cool Sensation Blue Razz.
The products will be available for 12 weeks from September in a 500ml £1 PMP and two-litre plain pack (rsp £1.99).
Annette Yates, Barr brand director, said: “We know that our limited editions are a big incremental sales driver for retailers, not only for the flavours themselves but for the wider Barr Family range. Last year, 82% of Barr limited-edition sales in one retailer came from new shoppers to the flavoured carbonate category.
“These limited editions are more than taste, they are a sensation, delivering a head cooling or tongue curling mouthfeel element on top of amazing fruity flavours.
A range of impactful and eye-catching PoS is available to create theatre and drive sales.
In other news, AG Barr is giving shoppers the chance to win a ski festival experience with a new on-pack promotion for Rubicon RAW, launching in mid-September.
One consumer will win a week-long experience of snowsports, apres-ski and parties with VIP tickets to Snowbombing Festival, which will take place in Austria in April 2026. They will receive access to the festival, accommodation and ski passes. There will also be hundreds of runner-up prizes.
The promotion will be featured on Rubicon RAW’s Raspberry & Blueberry, Orange & Mango and Apple & Guava flavours, and customers can enter the competition by scanning QR codes on packs. Wholesalers and retailers will be able to drive sales with a full toolkit of impactful PoS.

Rubicon RAW is currently backed by a wider £1.5 million advertising investment this year, which is set to reach two in three big can drinkers by the end of 2025.
