Zapper loyalty service offered by Palmer and Harvey

Zapper, the global consumer insights and marketing platform enabled by mobile payments, is partnering with Palmer and Harvey to let retail customers reward loyal members of the public.

pay-at-counter-image-for-webThe wholesaler, which services over 5,000 UK stores, will be able to offer its Plus Extra members a ‘one-stop-shop’ marketing platform to instantly gain shopper insights and reward consumers. Seamless payments, redemption of offers, direct feedback and the gaining of loyalty points are all available through this smart app solution.

P&H business development controller Simon Harris said: “Zapper will provide our 3,000 Plus Extra members with a fantastic loyalty and reward solution for their consumers. “We are consistently looking at ways of driving footfall into stores.”

Harris added: “The Zapper partnership will add real value to our Plus Extra members.”

Retailers will be able to automatically send digital vouchers and incentives straight to customers based on previous purchases.

Harris said that speed of payment and offer redemption at the counter was vital to avoid lengthy queues and potential ‘basket drop’.

The partnership enables Zapper to be listed as one of 300 P&H Plus Extra suppliers, making it available to thousands of retailers across the UK. Plus Extra members can use Zapper’s marketing solution to communicate with their customers and deliver targeted in-app rewards and brand-specific offers based on their individual spending habits.
