Wholesale fruit & veg service through Nisa delivers 17% rise

Nisa Retail’s new wholesale fresh produce service, which was launched last month, has already led to a 17% volume increase in the category.

The initiative has also made fresh produce available to 65 new symbol retailers who had not previously carried fruit & veg.

Nisa’s trading director, Stewart Smith said the aim was to provide “a convenient and efficient way to purchase fresh produce, ordered online and delivered to members’ doors, offering sector leading prices and a healthy profit margin”.
