Two new Lifestyle fascias launched by Landmark Wholesale

Landmark Wholesale’s Lifestyle Express fascia is undergoing a major change, with two new styles being launched – Lifestyle Extra and Lifestyle Value.

Extra is described as appealing to ‘a full-offer neighbourhood convenience store carrying a full range of chilled, fresh and frozen foods, as well as all the impulse and essential categories and services’.

Value is aimed at retailers ‘trading successfully where price and competition are overwhelming factors. These stores offer shoppers an abundance of deals, value and pound zones, leaving customers under no illusion about the value they get by shopping in store’.

At this very early stage, there are just three Lifestyle shopkeepers who have converted to the Extra logo and one who has switched to Extra. In all, there are 1,670 stores carrying the Lifestyle Express fascia.

Landmark’s retail controller Stuart Johnson said: “We anticipate that around 40 of the new store formats will open in 2016, divided between Lifestyle Extra and Value.

“We expect that there will be a split of existing Express retailers who upgrade and new ones who join the Lifestyle estate.”

In addition to these options, the group offers Lifestyle Evolution, its premium store format.
