Tracey Redfearn switches Unitas role to head of marketing

Tracey Redfearn, formerly Plan for Profit category controller at Unitas Wholesale, has a new group role – head of marketing and communications.

Redfearn (pictured) began her wholesale career in 1990 at Nisa-Today’s, where she spent more than 23 years in different roles from IT coordinator to wholesale trading controller.

The retail and wholesale arms of Nisa-Today’s separated in 2012, and in 2014 Redfearn left Today’s to join Nisa Retail as category management manager, taking on the extra responsibilities of heritage brand manager three years later.

In 2020, after six-and-a-half years with Nisa, Redfearn moved to Unitas, where she has been Plan for Profit category controller ever since. Unitas is currently recruiting a replacement for this role, which attracted 10 applicants from the LinkedIn advert.

Redfearn herself replaces former marketing controller Anita Mauriello (nee Oakhill), who left Unitas in June.
