Sucha Singh of Thames Cash & Carry passes away

Sucha Singh, former owner of Thames Cash & Carry and a founding member of the Today’s Group, has died.

Singh, 71, passed away suddenly on 1 February 2023. He had retired from the wholesale industry four years ago to spend time on his other business interests and to be with his family.

“For those that knew Sucha, he will be remembered as a softly spoken, true gentleman who will be sadly missed by the many that knew him within the wholesale trade,” said a Unitas spokesperson. “The thoughts of the Unitas team and our wholesale membership are with Sucha’s family and friends at this very sad time.”

Singh’s brother Pindi has asked that the following link be used for individuals to give their condolences https://www.remembr.com/en/sucha.singh for the family to be able to see.

Funeral arrangements will be advised shortly; however, the family have requested that instead of floral tributes, donations to Diabetes UK would be gratefully received:  https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/sucha-singh
