Raj Krishan leaves Sugro after just a few months

Raj Krishan, who joined Sugro UK early this year to fill the newly-created role of head of business development under MD Neil Turton, has left the group.

No official statement has been issued and there has been no indication of the reason for his departure.

Krishan joined the Nantwich, Cheshire, concern from AF Blakemore, where he was wholesale distribution sales director. Before that he worked for Landmark Wholesale, Today’s Group and Nisa.

A spokesperson for Sugro UK was non-committal about whether the post of head of business development would be refilled.

The group, with turnover of £1.1 billion, recently added three new wholesalers, with combined sales of £80 million, increasing the number of members to 80.
