Q Catering Supplies, of Sittingbourne, Kent, which joined Fairway Foodservice four years ago, has doubled its turnover to £8 million in that period. And hopes are high that it will soon pass the £10 million mark.
The wholesaler, established in 2003, supplies caterers across Kent and East Sussex.
Since joining the group – now with 20 members – it has increased its workforce from 24 to 46 and expanded its premises from 11,000 sq ft to 18,000 sq ft. More space is in the pipeline.
Founder and managing director Roger Snelling, speaking of the benefits of being part of the group, said: “I found Fairway was the best fit for us after carrying out a lot of research and speaking to other wholesalers.

He also alluded to industry intelligence, including trends in the market.
