JTI MARKS SILK CUT PACKAGING REVAMP WITH RETAILER PROMOTION
JTI has unveiled new artwork on three Silk Cut packs and, to celebrate, retailers are being offered the opportunity to win a share of £5,000 Love2Shop vouchers.
Available now, the limited-edition design features on packs of 20 King Size Purple, Blue and Silver cigarettes (rsp £9.15) for four-to-six weeks or while stocks last.
To be in with a chance of winning the vouchers, retailers must simply play the Silk Cut Discovery Game on JTI Advance and match four pairs in the quickest time. The leaderboard will be reset four times during August, so retailers are advised to keep logging on to increase their chances of winning.

DUCATI PROMOTION TAKES CENTRE STAGE AT BESTWAY AND DHAMECHA DEPOTS
Retailers visiting selected Dhamecha and Bestway outlets will enjoy a first-hand experience of one of the leading motor racing brands, Ducati, courtesy of the world’s number one tobacco brand, Marlboro.
The promotion will see a Ducati bike in-depot from the 3 August for five days to drive awareness of two Philip Morris deals. The first deal is a ‘buy five outers of PMP (of which one case must be Marlboro Touch) and receive £15 off’.
The second offer is a ‘buy one outer of 12.5g Marlboro Gold Roll Your Own and receive £5 off’.
This follows a successful trade campaign using a Ferrari in Dhamecha Hayes and Bestway Abbey Road depots last month.
Marlboro Touch offers a 12% POR – one of the highest in its price segment – and should be considered a must-stock range, claims brand owner Philip Morris.
Tobacco retailers who participate in the promotion will be entered into a draw to win Moto GP tickets. There will also be instant prizes to win. Point of sale material and pop-ups will drive retailers to the activity in-depot.

MENTOS TO LAUNCH NEW GLOBAL CAMPAIGN AT RUGBY AID 2015
Perfetti Van Melle has announced that Mentos has been named as an official sponsor of BT Sport Rugby Aid 2015 In Association with The Sun.
The event, which raises money for Rugby For Heroes, will see celebrities and rugby legends, such as Mike Tindall MBE, Shane Williams MBE and Jason Leonard MBE, face off in an England v Rest of the World fixture at Twickenham Stoop on 4 September.
The new partnership for the UK’s fastest growing mint brand (IRI) will be activated through stadium branding, PR, social media, sampling and competitions in the build-up to the match.
In what is believed to be a UK first, Mentos will also be branding the posts and crossbar, delivering a prominent presence when a conversion or penalty is scored during the live televised event.
