Philip Jenkins to leave Sugro after 17 years

Philip Jenkins (pictured), managing director of Sugro, is to leave the group at the beginning of the year to develop his own consultancy business.

In a statement, Ross Gourlay, chairman of Sugro and managing director of Glasgow-based wholesaler Glencrest, said: “The directors value the experience and knowledge that Philip has and the contrinbution he has made to the group during his 17-year tenure.

“The board has therefore contracted the strategic advisory services of Philip to assist in ensuring the success of the group, and we look forward to working with his support in 2018 and beyond.”

Day-to-day operations will remain with financial controller and company secretary Lesley Clarke, and head of trading Matthew Oxley.
