Nisa to host virtual expo in October
Nisa is to host a virtual expo in October that is set to include all the features of the usual Stoneleigh exhibition together with some additional interactivity only available through a virtual platform.
The Nisa Expo has run for more than two decades, providing the opportunity for suppliers and Nisa retailers to interact, help each other grow their businesses, strike deals and learn more about the benefits of being part of the Nisa/Co-op group of companies.
The group’s first virtual exhibition promises to offer similar benefits, with opportunities for one-to-one supplier meetings, virtual store tours, special deals, category insights, and interaction with Nisa colleagues, retailers and suppliers.
Nisa CEO Ken Towle commented: “The events of 2020 have meant that the independent retail environment has been extremely challenging but the sector has really stepped up and, through working closely with our supplier base, we have been able to differentiate ourselves from the competition and gain market share.
“We felt that now, more than ever, it was important to work together with our suppliers, partners and Nisa head office teams to really showcase Nisa and the full range of Co-op own-label products. We are really proud to create the first ever Nisa Virtual Expo.”
Registration for the Expo will open in the coming weeks.
