Irn-Bru, the UK’s number one flavoured carbonate brand from AG Barr (Nielsen), has undergone its first packaging makeover since 2007.
The new designs, which will be rolling out on all cans and bottles from March 2016, reflect the brand’s most iconic symbol – the Girder – but with an up to date, modern twist.
Although the instantly recognisable blue and orange colour swatch remains, the artwork features the original strongman, Adam Brown, as a tribute to the brand’s history.
Adrian Troy, head of marketing at Irn-Bru, says: “Girders are such a strong part of our heritage, we knew we had to have them front and centre on our packs.
