New core range initiative for best-one retailers

Core Rewards is the latest initiative from Bestway’s best-one symbol group, aimed at identifying key lines for convenience stores.

Consisting of a core product range and a rebate scheme, it includes 232 items of which shopkeepers must buy 75% to qualify for a rebate of up to 5% on these products. Licensed drinks have a different rebate percentage because of duty.

Paul Adams, best-one head of sales and development, said: “The products have been identified by our expert trading team and will change periodically to help retailers keep up with NPD and seasonal trends.

“With the launch of Core Rewards, not only are we helping retailers identify which products they should always stock, but we have also secured investments to reward them for doing so.”

The range includes soft drinks, crisps and snacks, confectionery, alcohol, grocery, chilled and non-foods, plus best-one toilet tissue and chilled juices.
