Mentos set for mass marketing push

Mentos, the UK’s fastest growing mint brand from Perfetti Van Melle, is back on TV screens this week as part of a nationwide marketing and advertising programme.

The ‘Who Says No to Mentos’ TV campaign will run right through into December, fully integrated with outdoor, digital, social, PR and experiential activation.

The brand will also be present on YouTube, with a targeted video-on-demand promotion, plus a heavyweight Facebook activation and Spotify Billboard advertising.

Mentos marketingThis will be supplemented by a four-week sampling and advertising initiative, which kicks off in Birmingham next week. The activity will include interactive booths in the city centre and branding on city buses and phone boxes.

“This national campaign is our largest ever investment on the Mentos brand,” explains brand manager claire Powley. “We chose Birmingham for the outdoor project as it is the UK’s second most populated city, so is the ideal place for us to connect with 18 to 34 year olds.”
