Kitwave names Lucie Milburn as divisional operations director

Kitwave Group has appointed Lucie Milburn as the new divisional operations director of its frozen & chilled division.

Kitwave’s frozen & chilled division comprises two businesses: Eden Farm and Central Supplies. Together they cover nine UK depot locations, employ over 550 staff and utilise 190 delivery vehicles.

Milburn (pictured) has more than 17 years of experience within supply chain operations and finance at Diageo, and has held director level positions, most recently supply finance director.

In her new role, she will report directly to Kitwave’s chief operating officer Ben Maxted and work closely with senior management, including the commercial and finance teams, to drive divisional profitability and efficiency.

Maxted commented: “We are delighted to welcome Lucie. Her extensive experience within supply chain operations, procurement and finance will add considerable value to the frozen & chilled division as we continue to drive organic growth.

“As the group pursues further acquisitions, Lucie’s role will also be pivotal in the successful integration of new businesses and the delivery of operational efficiencies.”

Kitwave has also announced the appointment of Teresa Octavio as non-executive director.

Octavio has held a number of executive roles at global businesses, including Kantar Consulting, Diageo and Procter & Gamble. She has also acted as a board advisor at omnichannel company DAME and as an independent advisor for a number of board and executive-level managers.

Octavio holds a Sloan Masters MSc in Leadership & Strategy from London Business School, Digital Business Transformation certification from Imperial College, and The Financial Times Non-Executive Director Diploma accreditation.
