James Hall & Co launches ‘£10K To Getaway’ SPAR promotion

James Hall & Co has launched a ‘£10K To Getaway’ promotion in SPAR stores in the North of England.

Running until 28 June, the web-based game gives customers the option to play daily and win a £10,000 grand prize voucher to spend on the holiday of their dreams.

Players can open three digital suitcases each day to be in with a chance of winning a wide range of daily prizes, from £200 in cash to money-off vouchers and instant rewards redeemable at participating SPAR stores. The reward pool has a value of well over £100,000.

The promotion is similar to SPAR’s ‘Win With Every Goal’ promotion, which was held last winter and became James Hall & Co’s most successful campaign ever.

Tom Murphy, marketing manager at James Hall & Co, said: “We considered several options for our big summer campaign, but with the continued cost-of-living crisis being felt by many of our customers, the prospect of playing for a £10,000 holiday voucher was something we felt would resonate well with people at this time.

“There is a brilliant array of prizes and rewards to be won by SPAR customers until the campaign ends, and the point-of-sale and marketing materials we have in our SPAR stores supporting the campaign really make this a stand-out promotion.”

In other news, more than 150 retailers attended James Hall & Co’s latest retailer update at its distribution centre in Preston. They were able to see a new range of home replacement meals that are being launched soon under the Clayton Park Bakery Kitchen brand. Other highlights included a refreshed summer alcohol range, new food-to-go products, and developments in the non-food area including summer bedding plants. The retailers were also offered ‘on the day’ deals from suppliers in attendance.
