James Hall & Co hosts social event for SPAR retailers

James Hall & Co has held a successful social weekend with its SPAR independent retailers in the North of England.

More than 270 people came together for the two-day event that included a virtual race night at Chester Racecourse.

This was followed by a gala dinner and dance at the Crowne Plaza hotel.

A Marie Curie fundraiser was held as part of the gala dinner, and £3,490 was raised for SPAR UK’s principal charity partner.

Peter Dodding, sales director of James Hall & Co and SPAR Northern Guild chairman, commented: “It was a terrific weekend in Chester and I was delighted that so many of our retail family from across the North of England were able to join us for a celebration.

“It has been a long three years since our last social event in 2019, and we have overcome so much in that period through resilience, togetherness and a willingness to succeed.

“We are now looking forward to supporting our SPAR retailers to achieve their ambitions in the remainder of 2022.”
