Industry stalwart Dave Warren recruited by Unitas

Dave Warren, who left Bestway in July after a year and a half as a category manager, has been recruited by Unitas Wholesale as a trading controller on a six-month contract.

Warren (right) was formerly head of on-trade at Today’s Wholesale Services from 2003 to 2018. Before that he spent seven years at Batleys as a buyer and 18 years at Nurdin & Peacock, latterly as a general manager.

Commenting on his new role, Warren said: “I am very pleased to be part of the biggest buying group in the UK again. I am looking forward to the next six months which will hopefully turn out to be much longer.”
