Landmark Wholesale member Hyperama, with cash & carries in Peterborough, Nottingham, Derby and West Bromwich, increased pre-tax profit from £1 million to £1.4 million in the year to 28 January on sales up from £136.8 million to £141 million.
The directors, referring to the difficult trading period, said: “The margin slightly improved from 11.1% to 11.7% but the market remains a competitive environment.”
They added it was too soon to estimate the effect of Brexit on future results and they “remain aware of uncertainties surrounding this matter”.
