CRG celebrates success and names Philip de Ternant as chairman

Country Range Group (CRG) celebrated the successes of its members and suppliers during 2023 at its ‘An Evening With’ event, where it was announced that Philip de Ternant, managing director of Creed Foodservice, is the group’s new chairman.

Held at Abbey Road Studios, the event was the 10th anniversary of CRG’s ‘An Evening With’ awards evenings.

The occasion featured a meal prepared by the Clink Charity’s Clink Events and entertainment from comedian Ed Gamble and band Boogie Street.

In addition to the awards, some of the guests hit the world-famous recording booth prior to the meal to create their own rendition of ‘With a Little Help From My Friends’.

A total of £4,190 was raised for the CRG’s recently announced charity partner The Natasha Allergy Research Foundation through a raffle where the prizes were a luxury Christmas hamper and four hospitality box tickets to see Liam Gallagher at the O2 Arena.

Country Range Group chief executive Martin Ward commented: “I honestly didn’t think we would ever surpass last year at St Paul’s but wow – what a venue and what a night. Just being at Abbey Road Studios gave me goosebumps but to be able to enjoy the historic surroundings with friends and be treated to first-rate food and entertainment, it was the perfect way to celebrate 2023 and 10 years of our special ‘An Evening With’ events.
