Confex recruits new members and offers additional support

Confex has recruited four new members since February, adding £55 million to the combined turnover of £2.18 billion for its 206 wholesaler members.

The new members are Brand Connection of Tipton, West Midlands; Bubbles Wholesale of Co Louth, Ireland; Dairy Farm Products of Coventry; and G420 of Birmingham.

Bill Uppal, trading director of G420, commented: “We are a rapidly developing business founded on supplying non-food items to shops in and around the  Midlands. We have chosen to join Confex as we see this as an ideal way to gain support for our diversification into other product categories. We are excited about the opportunities and support that Confex can offer and look forward to developing our business together.”

Confex reports that its members are working more collaboratively than ever during the COVID-19 crisis, sharing best practices on its Wholesale Marketplace and bringing out tailored home delivery apps, which are provided free as part of Confex membership.
