Bestway Vans team donate commissions and pladis matches sum

The team at Bestway Vans Direct teamed up with pladis UK & Ireland to raise money for NHS frontline services. 

The Bestway Vans Direct team donated their personal incentives and commissions from all biscuit sales over the last few weeks, and this was then matched pound for pound by pladis UK & Ireland, to reach a total of £7,537.32.

Bestway Wholesale managing director Dawood Pervez commented: “This is a fabulous initiative driven by our Bestway Vans Direct team and pladis UK & Ireland and illustrates just how passionately everyone is feeling in wanting to help and support the frontline essential workers who are selflessly, and tirelessly, devoting their time to helping others – and doing the most amazing job. Times are tough for all right now and to donate part of their earnings is a real testament to how strongly everyone feels.”

Scott Snell, customer vice-president at pladis UK & Ireland, said that the company was bowled over by the sentiment of the Bestway Vans Direct team in donating their personal commissions: “We felt that this was an exceptionally selfless act made by the Vans team that was worthy of recognition, so we promised to match pound for pound what the team could raise.
