Four members go live with Sugro Insight Service
Four members of Sugro UK have gone live with the Sugro Insight Service, powered by TWC.
BG Benton, Courtney & Nelson, Glencrest, and O’Reillys Wholesale are now using the service, which uses TWC’s SmartView reporting dashboards to provide a reliable and up-to-date read of group sales performance to the head office team, suppliers and participating members.
Taylor Wholesale and Youings Wholesale will also be live in a few weeks, and a further batch of members will be joining them on the platform in early 2024.
Several of Sugro’s key suppliers have already signed up to the service and can now access detailed sales and customer distribution data by named member to help them identify more growth opportunities.
Further upgrades are already planned for the new platform to ensure it offers a point of difference against other data services as well as additional return on investment for suppliers. From the new year, the Sugro Insight Service will include a breakdown of sales online versus offline so that suppliers can view digital performance and return on investment, as well as a split by customer type so that suppliers can understand their product sales via each of the member’s routes to market and build customer-centric plans.
Yulia Petitt, head of commercial & marketing at Sugro UK, said: “We are delighted to launch this new service and we look forward to demonstrating the value of the dataset with all our members and suppliers. We’re particularly excited about the enhanced supplier packages, which will enable users to get even more value from the data and support the group with its growth plans.”
Tanya Pepin, managing director at TWC, added: “It’s great to launch the Sugro Insight Service with such key members of the Sugro family. We’re continuing to keep discussions open with other interested members and we look forward to welcoming them on board in the coming months.”
In other news, Luton-based wholesaler MS Foods has joined Sugro.
With an annual turnover of over £10 million, MS Foods has been supplying the fast-food trade since 1996 and operates seven days a week. It offers a wide range of products including food and non-foods through click & collect as well as a delivery service using temperature-controlled vehicles.
Qasim Saleem, director of MS Foods, commented: “Our strategy at MS Foods is to expand our product categories with the introduction of new lines and enhance price competitiveness. We are delighted to join Sugro – this gives us the opportunity to access a pool of new suppliers aligning to our strategy of diversification and competitiveness.”
