Guy Farrant and Andrew Kitching leave Booker

Guy Farrant, who became chief operating officer of Booker in 2016 – a year before the tie-up with Tesco – is leaving the company.

Farrant (pictured) joined Booker in 2010 after working for Marks & Spencer, where he was director of the food division.

Before becoming chief operating officer of the C&C/wholesaler, Farrant was managing director of Booker Wholesale.

Also leaving the business is HR director Andrew Kitching.
