JJ Foodservice named one of the UK’s best workplaces

JJ Foodservice has been named a great place to work on the UK’s Best Workplaces in Retail, Hospitality & Leisure 2026 list.

The list celebrates organisations that make strong communication a priority in a fast-moving sector with dispersed teams. This is a particular strength for JJ, which operates 14 branches nationwide.

The results reflect what employees say about working at JJ. A total of 74% of surveyed employees say it is a great place to work, compared with 54% at a typical UK-based company in the sector. In addition:

85% of surveyed employees say people at JJ are treated fairly regardless of their gender

84% of surveyed employees say people at JJ are treated fairly regardless of their sexual orientation

83% of surveyed employees say they were made to feel welcome when they joined

83% of surveyed employees say it is a physically safe place to work

81% of surveyed employees say they are given the resources to do their job
