Bestway appoints ex-Booker’s Steve Keil as director of tactical trading

Bestway Wholesale has appointed Steve Keil as director of tactical trading.

He joins the company from Booker where he spent nearly 35 years, latterly as director of tactical trading, supporting the buying team.

Before starting at Booker as a general manager, Keil (pictured) spent seven years at supermarket chain International Stores, two years at Leo’s Superstore, and a further five years at DIY chain Do It All in branch management roles.

Commenting on his appointment by Bestway, Keil told Cash & Carry Management: “After 34 great years with Booker, I was looking to pursue new opportunities in brand development and consultancy. However, I missed the trading aspect so I am delighted to take on the director of tactical trading role at Bestway.”
