Radnor Hills launches £1 PMP for Radnor Spring with high POR
Radnor Hills is introducing a £1 price-marked pack (PMP) for carbonated soft drink Radnor Spring.
The independently owned and run soft drinks company says it is is offering a high profit on return (POR) on the PMP.
Radnor Spring comprises sparkling spring water with added B vitamins and comes in four flavours: Black Cherry & Blackcurrant, Mango & Passion Fruit, Pineapple & Grapefruit and Strawberry & Raspberry. It is supplied in cases of 12 x 500ml cases and the bottles are 100% recyclable.
Last year Radnor Hills launched its first ever price-marked packs with its flagship brand Radnor Splash.
Chris Sanders, sales & marketing director of Radnor Hills, says: “We know that retailers are facing big challenges with the margin available on PMPs due to inflation.
“We are passionate about giving our retailer partners products which offer them a great profit margin and that also drive consumer trust and give added value which is why we’re also launching Radnor Spring in PMPs.
“With great profit on return (POR) on £1 bottles of Radnor Spring, we believe our PMPs are really breaking the mould. The response from cash & carry is very exciting and we’ve had a 100% listing update in the first month.
“Healthy, functional and exactly what the market is looking for, we believe Radnor Spring is a must-stock drink for any retailer in the UK.
“We think it’s the perfect time to create our own juicy carbonated soft drink, where the hero is our incredible Welsh spring water, bottled by us in our zero-to-landfill site in Wales and available as a PMP. Radnor Spring also enhances an already nostalgic Radnor basket of products.
“We’ve also got a full activation team in place and we’re activating sampling, giveaways and engagement days all over the country to support the launch.”
Radnor Hills has carried out consumer research of 3,000 18-35-year-olds who have enjoyed its brands throughout their education years. “We gained strong feedback that they are thirsty for more innovation from us as they make their next steps outside of education into the workforce and in their leisure time,” says Sanders.

The Radnor Hills team will be showcasing the new price-marked packs of Radnor Spring at The Unitas Trade Show at the Exhibition Centre in Liverpool on 11-12 March.
