Troy Mckee takes on commercial development at The Wholesale Group

Troy Mckee has stepped into a new role as senior commercial development advisor at The Wholesale Group.

This follows a year as the organisation’s foodservice trading director and, before that, eight-and-a-half years at Fairway Foodservice, latterly at purchasing director. He has also previously worked at Country Range Group, The Today’s Group and Batleys.

In his new role, Mckee (pictured) will be mentoring the group’s new purchasing leadership, supporting the buying team and working closely with IT to harness systems, AI and data to unlock commercial growth – especially in own-brand and category development.

He commented: “I am excited to keep building, innovating, and sharing the insights I’ve gained over 40 years in the industry.”
