Tayto promotes Mr Porky on social media and YouTube

Tayto has launched a new social and YouTube campaign for Mr Porky as a reminder that whether you’re down the local or on the sofa, whether you’re watching the big game or simply winding down, ‘There’s no matching a scratching!’. The campaign is expected to reach more than three million adults.

The No.1 brand in pork snacks today (Circana), Mr Porky Original Pork Scratchings are a Great British tradition as well as a piece of pub culture, says Tayto, which points out that far more scratchings are sold in retail than in pubs. 70% of shoppers buy scratchings as part of their planned weekly shop or simply buy on impulse when they see them (Norstat). What’s more, 23% of shoppers will not buy another snack if pork scratchings are not available.

A total of 37% of convenience retailers who sell crisps and snacks don’t sell pork snacks, and they are missing out on a slice of a £35 million market (Circana).
