Two internal promotions as COO Paul Lee leaves Sterling Supergroup
Sterling Supergroup has announced that chief operating officer Paul Lee, who only took on the role in December last year, has left the organisation.
In response, the board has made two internal promotions: Daniel Larkin has been appointed to the position of chief commercial officer, and Jodie Garnham has been promoted to head of finance & operations.
“These promotions reflect their outstanding contributions and leadership within the group,” said chairman John Whitechurch.
Sterling Supergroup also announced that it will be recruiting additional support at head office to further strengthen its procurement team.
These developments come as the organisation prepares for its 58th annual conference & exhibition, which takes place on 19-20 September in Coventry.
“This year’s event promises to be a dynamic gathering of industry professionals, featuring key presentations with a focus on innovative sustainability, networking opportunities, and a showcase of new products and services,” said Whitechurch.
Founded in 1966, Sterling Supergroup is a buying co-operative with the membership consisting of family-owned wholesale companies located throughout the UK, supplying thousands of catering outlets.
