Kettle Chips now available in three limited-edition winter flavours
Kettle Foods has expanded its sharing range of hand-cooked chips by introducing three new festive flavours.
A Soy, Ginger, Chilli & Honey variant has been launched as Kettle Chips’ winter seasonal edition and replaces the summer flavour of Thai Sweet Chilli, Lemongrass & Coriander.
Two new Christmas seasonings, Beef, Red Wine & Shallot and White Stilton & Cranberry Relish, are also available until the end of December.
The latter two flavours come in cases of 8 x 150g bags, while the Soy, Ginger, Chilli & Honey variant is obtainable in outers of 12 until the end of March. All three SKUs have an rsp of £1.99.
Jim Couchman, head of impulse at Kettle Foods, reports: “Consumers are more inclined to treat themselves and their guests at Christmas so Kettle Chips are always popular at this time of year.
“As the festive season approaches, the limited-edition flavours will help convenience retailers to capitalise on consumers’ desire to buy premium products to share and will bring some excitement to the category.”
The sharing segment is ranked as the number one growth sector in the impulse snacking market, according to Nielsen, with value sales up by more than 20% over the last two years (Nielsen).
