JJ Foodservice to share growth journey at supplier conference
JJ Foodservice’s annual supplier conference is to take place on 20 September at 30 Euston Square in London.
Themed ‘Our Journey to Growth: Innovation & New Markets’, the event will feature presentations from industry speakers as well as interactive workshops focusing on emerging market trends.
Sezer Ozkul, chief product officer at JJ Foodservice, said: “Over the past 12 months, JJ Foodservice has made significant strides with the opening of a new branch, a strategic acquisition, and a focus on expanding into world food markets. We are keen to share our growth journey and ensure our supplier partners are with us every step of the way.”
The conference will be hosted by Patrick Mitchell Fox, senior business analyst at IGD, who will discuss the latest trends and challenges in the UK convenience and foodservice wholesale sector.
Speakers from JJ Foodservice will include Ozkul, who will cover the company’s procurement strategy, including the growth of its Advance Order marketplace, and chief operating officer Kaan Hendekli, who will discuss the impact of new branches and acquisitions on the company’s growth.
Head of communications Elit Rowland and head of marketing Omar El-Haj will share strategies on enhancing brand visibility through influencer and community campaigns.
Other speakers include Faye Min, growth manager at CJ Foods, who will highlight the popularity of Korean cuisine; Maggie Davis, insight manager at Lumina, who will present findings from the latest UK Eating Out Trends report; and Simon Stenning, strategic advisor & futurist, who will explore future foodservice trends.
Attendees can join interactive workshops in the afternoon, choosing from Thai Menu Trends with The Food Fellas, Mexican Menu Trends with Santa Maria, and a Dumpling Masterclass with Shannon McAuliffe, head chef at School of Wok.
