JJ Foodservice launches MSC campaign to raise awareness
JJ Foodservice has launched a campaign to raise awareness of its MSC fish and seafood range and educate customers about the benefits of MSC-certified products.
The campaign includes an overhaul of all MSC-certified products on the website and app, adding information on what MSC certification means and why it is important.
JJ’s chief product officer Sezer Ozkul said: “As a national business, we have a responsibility to educate our customers about the importance of protecting marine ecosystems and supporting responsible fishing practices. Not only does it help our customers make more informed choices, but it also supports our group vision to have a positive impact.”
The campaign will see JJ’s MSC range promoted on the website, app and social media.
JJ’s MSC journey began in 2018 when it rolled out MSC certification across all branches as part of a commitment to work sustainably to supply fish and seafood to customers. The wholesaler now offers a range of wild-caught and frozen-at-sea fish and seafood products designed for various business types, from restaurants and takeaways to hotels and pubs.
JJ Foodservice works closely with fishing vessels to ensure a robust supply of high-quality products all year round.
