CJ Lang launches click & collect from Dundee distribution centre

CJ Lang and Son has launched a click & collect service aimed at providing trade customers with a full ambient range and selected chilled products.

Operating from its 180,000 sq ft distribution centre in Dundee, the click & collect service operates seven days a week. Customers placing their order before 2.30pm can collect it by 6pm the same day. Orders received after 2.30pm will be available for collection the following day.

Colin McLean, CEO at CJ Lang & Son, said: “During the pandemic, we have been in a fortunate position to be able to continue supplying our independent SPAR retailers with what they needed to provide communities with essential items on a daily basis.

“Our distribution team has been doing a phenomenal job and also provided a number of retail businesses outside of the SPAR network with product over the past 12 weeks. As a result we felt we could expand this service and not only provide our existing independent SPAR retailers with a click & collect service but also give other retail trade customers the opportunity to order and collect from our depot in Dundee.

“We are doing all we can to support independent retailing in Scotland, and as we work with a growing number of Scottish, UK and international suppliers, we have the ability to offer retail businesses an extensive product range.”

CJ Lang is looking to add more products to its click & collect service over the next few weeks.
