Anchor Hugglers return in new TV advert

Arla Foods has commissioned a new TV creative to showcase Anchor’s limited-edition range of Christmas-themed tubs.

The new commercial reunites viewers with its family of animated characters known as the ‘Hugglers’, who made their on-screen debuts back in June this year as a part of a wider £6 million Anchor Cheddar marketing campaign.

The 30-second advert, which concludes on 28 December, focuses on Anchor Spreadable and runs in tandem with a special on-pack promotion.

The brand, which accumulated 20% of its sales from the festive season in 2014 (IRI), is giving away thousands of presents in the lead up to Christmas this year, including a family trip to Florida.

The promotion is displayed across the entire Anchor Spreadable range which, along with Anchor Block, has been revamped to look like a Christmas present.
