In a statement issued on behalf of Landmark Wholesale, finance director Andrew Thewlis has disclosed that Chris Doyle (left), business development director for the past six years, has left “with immediate effect, by mutual consent”.

When Cash & Carry Management asked whether Doyle was moving to another job and, if so, with whom, Thewlis said: “I’m not aware of anything.” And regarding Doyle’s replacement he commented: “We’re still looking at that possibility. We’ll review the situation in the new year.”

Doyle joined the group to handle own-label, new member recruitment and the Lifestyle Express fascia from food manufacturer Symington’s, where he was foodservice director. He had previously worked for Kellogg’s and Twinings.
