Birchall Foodservice moves into fresh fruit & veg
Following its successful move into fresh butchery last year, Birchall Foodservice is now offering customers across the north of England and north Wales a range of fruit and vegetables.
Buying & contracts director of the Burnley-based company Keith Horner (pictured) said: “Fresh meat sales for the last nine months of 2015 topped £300,000. Fruit & veg is stage two of our fresh food initiative.
“Our range is sourced from local growers during the UK season, and also from global suppliers to ensure year-round supply of the highest quality produce at the best possible price.”
